I would like to offer, that I believe a lot of companies think you should be so grateful for just having a job, as if they did this all just for you, and you shouldnt get hung up on thinking their promises meant anything. I too thought a smaller company would be better but that was flawed thinking on my part. It is what it is. The industry has had a retention problem for a long time and now they use scare tactics, like telling drivers theyve been out of the truck too long if he has to get off the road for any reason.

I dont know where you are from but there is a company in Eureka, Il. called Cox Transfer. This was a good little company and they get you home every weekend. The pay was good also. There operating area is just a few states and i got bored with it but they were a solid company. Hope this helps.

I agree, Roehl is pretty honest, not a bad place. A lot of drivers that leave wind up coming back, myself included.
