I stopped by my old school last spring, all new faces. even the trainer I liked and I credit with getting my license with was gone. I had stopped in to get some refresher material for renewing my license but I ended up re-reading the manual on line. The one lesson I learned from my experience was only up to me to learn what I needed to. I did a year and a half hauling heavy regional but wanted to be closer to home so I got a new job which it turned out to be long haul, I still laugh at myself for not realizing in the beginning. Anyway 6 months of that was all I could stand, I felt my health declining pretty fast and especially if I was pulling Vans, I prefer flatbed.
Now I have a dream job, bulk tanker either to GTA or Montreal, home every weekend and at least every other day during the week. I'm sorry to hear it didnt work out for JJ I know it wasn't as easy as they make it sound especially if the school doesnt deliver.
Half way through transport school and it sucks! The reality of my trucking school experience.
