Space is limited in the trucks, so you just need 3 or 4 changes of clothes, and your toiletries. Your load may br dedicated, but if not, most hotels have laundry rooms in them. Make sure to take at least one long sleeve shirt. If you load in Savannah they make you wear long sleeves in the facility. It was a little chilly up there last week so I'd take a hoodie or something.

Our trainers are good guys, and you'll learn a lot. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Congrats silver back. Superior is a good company to work for. I have been here almost 2 years now and no real complaints. It isn't perfect all the time but overall I don't think you could have done much better for an OTR company.

How are they doing the Hotel bills for such a long trip with a trainer? There will not be company hotels everywhere on that route. Will you/trainer pay for them and get reimbursed or does your trainer have a corporate credit card. Just curious.

Our trainers have a corporate credit card of some sort I think.

I haven't a clue, but can and will pay if that's the plan. TM told me it's an out and back dedicated run so I'm pretty confident it's all been thought out.
I guess I'll find out Monday, I'll let you know.

The corporate card must be a new thing because when I trained there were some places we stayed where I paid out of pocket but turned in the receipts and got reimbursed. Superior pays for all the hotels one way or another during training so no worries there. Have fun training. You will learn a lot.

I'm ready to get started that's for sure.
I'm not worried, it's not like Superior's a fly by night.
Heck, there's even a permanent building in Augusta, LOL.

It is paid through Corporate Lodging which is a program that Superiors has set up but not all hotels take a corporate lodging card. So basically it is billed back to the company.
