On Friday June 1, four old guys in their 50's tried to hold a public, political information session in Halifax at Victoria Park.
The group "Solidarity Halifax" incited a mob to attack these 4 men, spitting on them, stealing a phone, and repeatedly assaulting them.

The local media tried to portray the incident as though "Solidarity Halifax" fought back against a group of "white supremacists".
The Halifax police stood by as a woman standing on a block with a bullhorn began to shout profanities and incite the mob (in excess of 50) to assault the 4 older men.
I was holding a sign that said "Immigration? or is it Corporate Welfare" on one side and "End the Corporate Monarchy" on the other side.
Polls indicate over half of Canadians want a change to immigration policies, what was I doing wrong??
A big guy came up to me, tore the sign from my hands, destroyed it and them came back and pinned me up against a wall, repeatedly pushing me up against the wall, yelling "bigot" at me spitting in my face.
This occurred right in front of several police, yet they chose not to intervene. I showed no aggression at any point.
Business in the downtown area of Halifax that depend on US tourism should be especially concerned that a group declaring themselves as "anti-capitalist" are inciting mobs to attack small groups of older men.
