Halloween Time - Sitting Pretty

At home in omaha and just got my first trick or treaters .

 

Quiet here, my whelpling and wife went to greener pastures 2 hrs south to trick or treat in her friends fancy neighborhood

 

Pretty neat having these little kids show up , most are very well mannered and say thank you .

 

My wife spent $50 on candy and no one showed up o well I guess o get to pick out what I like.

 

Now a days, many trick or treaters only stop by a home that is decorated and outside lights are on. Many just don’t participate anymore.

 

but thats been true for 30 years.

Frequency of visitors has to do with neighborhood density and enough young familys to have the kids. Many areas have a homogenous homeowner age demographic, and by virtue of being a homeowner, it further segregates you by income and neighborhood.
