Hammer has improved significantly

Will HAMMER come out with an individual device or will it be app dependent, only?

 

Not worth a new thread, but I recently had the app try to route me on a known No Trucks street and then when I changed the destination so it would stop tellinh me to take the wrong street, it suggested the route I use I needed to make a u-turn for no apparent reason.

 

Hey @HillbillyDeluxeTruck thank you for reaching out and letting us know of this situation. Do mind sending us an email to support@hammerapp.com with your route and truck presets (you can take a screenshot of the preset if easier) so we have our mapping community look in to this?

 

Last year I ended up with a blue billion cases of maple yogurt. Nasty. My.dogs wouldn't eat it

 

I'm off work for a little bit right now but when I get started again I'm going to try the hammer again.

I have to say I really like the layout of it. Whoever designed that layout and the display I think it's really awesome.

This time I will try to keep track of the routes and if there are any problems I will report them.

I really appreciate the effort they put into this trying to make a 100% free app that will work.

That has to be a massive undertaking and they are to be commended for doing such a thing.

 

I’ll give hammer a shot again. It should be fun with this job.
For what’s it’s worth the RM isn’t worth jack and the “pilot truck app” is equally as useless.

 

Honestly the one feature I love about it. Though I am not using it currently. Is the "view" before confirming. There is a shipper in OH that the address is gate 1. But the truck gate is around the corner at gate 3. Been there enough to know it wo worry. But being able to drag the icon around to that gate is nice. Routes great when you tweak it.

 

I am a bit frustrated. Even though my settings are for hazmat and avoid truck restriction it keeps sending me down no-no streets...
