Do you have this issue with any other GPS app or any issue with apps freezing on your device? One thing we like to suggest is just to power your phone off and back on. Also, if need be, uninstall the app and reinstall (this will give you the most current update of the app and will refresh it)
Let us know if the above steps help improve the issue and if not, I did go ahead and get this issue reported to our developers to address as soon as possible.
Thanks!D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Can't comment on the routing yet, since I was driving on the easy roads, but here are some things I can give feedback on.
Liked: nice layout with speed, ETA and distance info in right places. Directions with arrows and lanes suggestions are appear at the right time and are helpful. .
Needs improvement: the bar with directions is huge, it takes so much of the screen space and is pretty much empty.
Color scheme (dark orange and yellow) is not my favorite, would be nice to have some extra colors
Step by step instructions should have bigger sized letters, it's very hard to read what it says when tablet is mounted on the windshield
It would be nice if traffic can be implemented in Copilot style or at least in Google maps style, right now you can not even tell if there is traffic ahead.
When zooming out (pressing - ), it only stays like that for couple seconds and then reverts back to the original scale, it would helpful if it stayed in zoomed out position. -
Thank you so much for all this awesome feedback! I have sent this over to our development team. They will address these concerns as soon as possible. We are always updating and improving HAMMER thanks to feedback like this! Thank you again! -
Also, May I ask the make and model of your phone please ?

Really it was just rest areas now that I’m thinking of it.
It also seemed to do really well with keeping the exits right.Bean Jr. and Bridgette HAMMER Thank this. -
@Mototom Awesome! I'll get it updated to just rest areas only. Glad to hear that it was doing well with the exits.

I tried it with my phone. With phone in the sideways (landscape view) position, The volume icon covers up the speed traveled icon. With phone in the upright (portrait) position , it is ok. Maybe move the volume icon to the top right corner.
When I first set up my trip, it gave some options, but it ended up trying to get me to go with option 1 when I wanted a different one. When I turned the way I wanted to go anyway, It told me to turn left on this road then make a u-turn.
After a while it seemed ok but while I stayed on truck routes it did try to send me out of the way.
I was in my car, but had set up as a full sized truck hauling hazmat. My trip was @175 miles from SW Arkansas to Lake Village, Ar on mostly 2 lane highways- U/S.278, Ar 35, U.S. 65- all truck hazmat legal roads.
I'll try it again Monday when we go back home and let you know how it does.
And I agree with my wife that it may have been operator problems, meaning me, that caused the problems. I'll find out Monday.NightWind and Bridgette HAMMER Thank this. -
Maybe I missed it. Is there a shortest route option?
I tried it last night coming into Birmingham where the construction is at 65/20. It was sending me to 459 to 20E. It’s about 15 miles shorter to jump off on the side streets and pick up 20E.Bean Jr. and Bridgette HAMMER Thank this. -
I just wanted to post my thanks for this gps! The other night it turned a nightmare into a walk in the park. It picks up addresses better than my pilot GPS and has truck routing unlike google or imaps
Bean Jr. and Bridgette HAMMER Thank this.
