@Nostalgic Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are still new and addressing everything as soon as possible. Your feedback allows us to improve the app, so we greatly appreciate it. Routing is a huge priority issue and want to make sure we have as much details as possible. Can you please send us a private message with the details of your route so we can escalate it to our development team?

 

Joined test group tonight in PA. Using Hammer vs Garmin side by side.
I like screen layout but picture too zoomed in and no current position marker. Hard to figure out where are you and where road will go. Need to zoom out little bit.
Hammer fail to find address 500 S Muddy Creek Rd. Denver, PA ACME DC.

Hey @Snailexpress , we appreciate you giving us a try! I submitted these suggestions to our developers. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Quick question for you, do you have any routing settings turned on? Go to Menu > Settings > Routing and let me know if you have any of those options turned ON. I searched the 500 S Muddy Creek Road address and was able to locate it on HAMMER. I'm on an iPhone, may I ask the make/model of your device please?

 

I do have routing settings turned on. Can't say exactly how far Hammer was away with address because it zoomed in too much. The other thing Hammer doesn't know rout from Colonel Howard Blvd thru Trost Rd to warehouse. Probably because Trost Rd posted "Local delivery only".
My device is tablet Lenovo TB 8504F with Android 8.1.0

 

@Snailexpress Was it able to locate the address and just missed the notification to turn there or could it not find the route? I just want to make sure we investigate the issue properly. I will go ahead and submit this info to our developers. Again, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate it.

 

The address was located but I don't know where it was on the Hammer map. Again it zoomed to much in. When I was approaching Trot Rd, it's right turn just before toll boot Hammer guide me to keep go strait and distance to designation was about 20 miles or so. Can't provide more details because it was morning rush time and my eyes between road and two navigators and road signs.

 

Here is couple more things I noticed. Let's say you are driving and need to take exit to i80 East, the GPS just shows "take exit to i80", it does not specify East or West, and it's the same with many other roads and freeways.
On iPad mini 2 with iOS 12, the app crashes a lot, like it takes 3-4 times for it to stay open after you enter address and click start routing.
I did not get to North East yet to really test it out, but app wanted to take me thru a residential street to this address
1300 S Lynndale Dr, Appleton, WI 54914 from Chicago, while Copilot provided correct routing by taking College Ave.
