Lots of people don't know what no means. They think the badge and weapon grant some god like powers.

You're correct. That's the predictable result of watching a lifetime worth of stupid cop shows on the boob tube. Uncle Sam likes their victims scared and hypnotized, it makes their job much easier.

If you get pulled over in a car, LEO must ask for your permission OR have a warrant. THEY DO NOT NEED PC OR A WARRANT TO ENTER THE CAB OR TAKE POSSESSION OF ANYTHING IN A CMV.

For those of you who want to tell a California Highway Patrol Officer that you "know your rights", good luck with that... Let me know how it works out for ya. Trust me Ive sat around BS'n with them enough to know that they LOVE it when CB Lawyers start rattling case law to them. You want to teach a cop how the law works? He'll be glad to let you do that in court.

You are wrong they can't enter your truck except in accordance with a safety inspection. Namely to look at sleeper equipment and thats it unless you allow them too. The key word is NO you can't look. I like court so it don't bother me at all the worst they can do
is write a ticket. If you win you may get his job or money. Best thing to do is if you suspect a problem dial your answering machine
or someone on the ray lahood mandated headset and let them listen in to the goings on between you and officer.
No need for case law or rights talk just a plain simple NO you may not look.
