What's up with wearing your hands free headset all the time. I mean are you going to get into an accident walking and talking on the phone? What's your thoughts?

I used to take mine off in the truck because I looked like a goober smoocher. My wife informed me that I fit that description either way so now I leave it on most of the time but only in the truck. The blue Parrott takes 2 hands to put it on and it unpairs easily so I just leave it on. I also listen to radio stations and my music through it with an app called bt mono. I don't feel any less safe holding my phone to my ear but I just play the game and use my headset to make everyone happy. As far as getting in a wreck. I think the blue tooth causes people to talk on the phone more because of the convenience of it. Which results in more distractions. I talked a whole lot less without mine. Not every wreck that happens is a result of phone talking just because they were talking at the time. Nearly every 4 Wheeler or 18 that passes me are doing something with their phone.

I walk in a truck stop and about 70% of the drivers in there are wearing the headset just to wear it. Don't get me wrong its awsome when your doing something it frees your hand up, but just to wear it, thinking it looks good. I get a crack out of it........

Well to each their own, I was just wondering if anyone else thought the same...lol

I think people look like idiots wearing them around all the time...I always think "are they waiting on a call from the president?..can't miss that call!"...

Thought it was just something else that irks me being around people...like baggy shorts/pants, NOBODY THINKS YOUR COOL!

Mine is only on when talking, because we do look like goobers when we wear them. My daughter freaks out if I wear mine at home:biggrin_25521:

I wear mine cause I hate holding the phone up. So I can talk if I get a call and still use my phone for other things. If I have 4g I can talk and be online at the same time
