That looks like an old Jordan Carriers truck out of Natchez. You live in Ms?

Your reality and the reality for others can be two entirely different things.

It's what we Do it's not a idea. We have been trucking for 8 years. If you think what I am saying is not the norm you should go back to company. High pay rates go to those that drive and keep the door shut. We are not alone in not taking pay loads under $2 . We work smarter not harder.

That kind of money can buy a lot of Advil for those O/O headaches, huh?

See here is the thing. A lot of guys that you hear complaining are the ones not really suitable to own their own truck. I'm not saying all but a majority. A lot of people don't realize this is a business and unfortunately do not have any real business experience, or some one to ask.

The head aches come when a person doesn't have a business plan and stick to it. Trying to start up with out enough capital. Getting there own authority and not understanding the business well enough.

Obviously this is not all O/O a lot do make it, but it is with a lot of them. Again not all people that can drive a truck should own one.

Judging by how few people even pretrip their trucks, I’d say a majority have no business owning them. Especially if they have no business acumen on top of that. My dad does well because mom keeps the numbers and looks for the freight, he was a company hand for so long that’s it’s hard to break the more miles mentality.

Yeah I could care less about miles, it's all about the revenue
