I team at Werner and honestly I am happy we avrage 4-5k miles a week. We leave the house Monday morning and get home either late friday or early Saturday. I feel happy with the pay we are each getting about 1750 a week and 6cpm bonus on all miles paid once a month. We started on a 0 mile kw and they give us a wash once a month to keep it clean. Most of the trailers are in great shape to run repair request are fast and easy. Our dispatcher leaves us alone for the most part and we communicate on the tablet through text or if its urget he gives us a quick call
I am honestly happy at werner

Glad to hear it. Just remember new jobs at most trucking. Come with what they call a “honeymoon period” Not saying, that’s the case with you, but it’s quite common. Your dispatcher might be on his best behavior, giving you some nice fat loads. Keeping in good communication with you and keeping you constantly moving. Check back in six months and see if that’s the case, and if it is, then you’ve got yourself in a good situation. If it’s not? Then you just went through the honeymoon phase. Lol.
Alley Dock, austinmike, Bean Jr. and 6 others Thank this. -
That's really good pay. I wonder what solo drivers are making.
bryan21384 Thanks this. -
However -- it's no big secret that teams do often tend to get preferential treatment with loads, etc.

Teams here gross ~$2400, per driver. Run dedicated routes. Run a dedicated schedule of ~5 days out. Outstanding benefit package. All air-ride equipment. If you two continue to be successful running together, put this in your rolodex for future consideration.

Thanks we do dryvan. Mostly fedex, ups, amazon, walmart preloads. And a occasional tractor supply, hobby lobby, shag load or a live load.Last edited: Oct 29, 2023

I crossed paths with a Werner solo driver today who has been with them for 27 years. Guess he’s satisfied too.
Every company is right for somebody. Glad to hear they’re working out for you! -
Happy at Werner? Those are the words of someone needing to be called in for a random drug test
