Harassment at orientation Need some advice please

I too suffer from this. When I have a test sometimes it takes forever to go. Maybe you should go to HR and tell them what happened. So it doesn't happen to someone else. If they let you go contact a lawyer. You have a strong case in my expert opinion.

 

I have had the same problem all of my life. It's no fun, drug screens are always a bit stressful, but the more stress that gets into the picture, the worse it gets. My way of overcoming it is to drink a bunch of water before I go and get almost to the pain level by the time I get there and then donating to the cause isn't a problem. In your case, the instructor was wrong to make fun of you, but if I were you, I would just let it go and get through orientation. If driving for TMC is something that you really want to do, don't let some insensitive jerk stand in your way.

 

I would say just let it go and continue with orientation. Don't make a mole hill into a mountain just a little joking around is what it sounds like to me. I served 6 years in the military and seen this happen to soldiers all the time and of course we busted chops but it was all in fun. Drive on with orientation and don't let it bother you.

 

I think your being a cry baby myself get over it the more he sees that it bothers you the more fun it is to make fun of you

 

As a trucker you better grow some thicker skin. If that stuff hurt your feelings, you might be in for culture shock.

 

Depending on the state you only have a hour to provide a sample if your at 50 min it was just a heads up to him if they gave you 3 hours they did you a favor
