    Check Ebay for an extended run gas can set up. They make them for most portable generators and it can double your run time.
    I put my portable generator under the hood next to the drive tire so it runs a bit quieter. Also, I can run a cable lock through it so no one runs off with it in the middle of the night.

    I just got overheated laughing at some of the comments on this thread. Reached over, fired up my APU, cooled off.

    Didn't cost me 10k so don't think I'm being a fancy APU snob. My APU equipped truck cost just the same as others I was looking at without one.

    Another alternative would be to get another generator and run it parallel. That should solve your run time issues, give you more power, as well as having a backup in case either one goes out.

    Why couldn't a guy hang up a tank and let it gravity feed?

    That one looks like it needs to be hand pumped.

    It’s a shelf I made that rests on the door frame and the glass comes up thru the center to stabilize it.
    The window unit sits on the shelf.
