Co2 doesn't kill. It's CO. Carbon monoxide is a poison, CO2 is what we exhale. CO small amounts can really mess you up. I don't think the little gens are super efficient in combustion, so they produce more.

Does your truck have stack(s)? I'd do just like mine... 3/4" conduit alongside the stack.
I thought about doing the along the he frame rail thing too but then I parked next to a landstar that had his generator under the trailer. You could smell the exhaust everywhere around his truck because the air was dead still.
I would do whatever it takes to point the exhaust as high in the air as you can get it.Rideandrepair, PE_T, Tug Toy and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yeah I have to do something with it. I have and under frame exhaust. You can smell slightly in the cab some times.Rideandrepair, PE_T and lilillill Thank this.

Ten4. Yeah the only thing is, last year I cut a big hole in the back of the cab to try out a big ol household window a/c. So since then luckily I knew someone good enough to help me bend up some new aluminum and rivet it to the cab to make it sealed again. (Had to take the ac out, was leaking water) So now it doesn’t leak water but was concerned with routing the exhaust that way cause the stacks are only a couple foot above the cut/cab top and was unsure if the CO would make its way in somehowLast edited: May 1, 2019

Use an espar pipe—it's solid stainless with no joints like regular flex. Then use Ultra Copper on each end of that to seal to the muffler stub and the conduit. The only exhaust that'll get out is way high in the air.
Where I had trouble was exhaust blowing under the cab and coming in through the vents. Once I ran it alongside the stack, I had no more trouble. You can walk all around my truck and not smell a bit of exhaust while it's running.Rideandrepair, PE_T, HopeOverMope and 2 others Thank this. -
Had the same setup except mine is locked in a box. Get a window unit. Up rights give off heat and use too much power
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
See, this would be my exhaust area. I think it would be fine running it straight up like you mentioned. I don’t think exhaust would get through my nickel plate right there? Because on the inside is a hole! Well from the inside looking above the bed you’ll see the aluminum plate, no insulation or anything has been put back up yet. I mean water doesn’t get in, it’s sealed pretty dang good, better than I thought we were gonna get it.
I probably pick one of these up and use the type of materials you mentioned. It’s a 5 ft extension, maybe they’ll just sell me the custom flange that fits up the exhaust.Last edited: May 1, 2019

That is the exact same stuff I picked up at Napa for like $1.40 a foot. $69 for 5 feet seems pretty pricey.
Rideandrepair, PE_T and lilillill Thank this. -
Yea, no doubt. Looks like your mostly paying for the custom flange that’ll fit the eu3000 Honda.
