Please bear with me, as i am posting this question for my husband, and i'm not sure of exactly the right terminology.
Does anyone know if Celadon has the hard braking system that alerts them to when a driver does a hard brake?
Thanks in advance !
Hard braking system? Celadon ?

I can't say for certian they do. But I can say that they most likely do. Most companies monitor that now days for insurance purposes.
You really shouldn't be concerned one way or the other, unless you are a dangerous driver. Tailgating causes a higher number of events. That's why they watch it closely.
I get 1 or 2 a month on average. Sometimes I go 2-6 months without a hard brake incident. But there are times you will be forced to do it. If I recall correctly, the safety department of the former CFI wouldn't even bother a driver with 3 or less a week when I was there.
I recently had a hard braking event with my current company, that I thought for sure would generate a phone call. But it never came.
Bottom Line: Consistant hard braking is a driver skill issue. It won't cause problems for the driver who allows space and is mindful of their surroundings at all times.jellismf1 Thanks this. -
My hubby has been driving for them since March, and he hasn't heard of this. He did hear that they will be adding the camera system to the new trucks at some point in the future. He heard this from one of the mechanics at the Indy terminal a couple of months ago. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen.
