:biggrin_25510:How about this. I got my licenses suspended due to the wonderful City of Ashland City, TN not filing some paperwork with the state in a timely matter. I have been in suspension since Aug 26, 2009. As of Feb 17 2010, I got my licenses back, however since I don't have any bills of my own I could not get my CDL. That is right. I was forced to drop my CDL cause I don't have a single bill in my name with my address on it. I have other mail, but that isn't sufficent with the state of TN. Is that normal?? I have been force to work for 7.75 an hour, and only allowed to get 25 hours a week as I have no other skills other than driving. I am going to die a slow, painful, starving death. My credit is shot, so no cell bill (I was using prepaid unlimited talk for 60 a month.), I haven't got enough money to get the electric turned on in my name as the electric co is wanting a 250 deposit. I am on well water, and Comcrap says that I owe them 9K for cable because the house I live in has been in my family for years and several of my family members are deadbeats. BTW, did I mention I only get an average of 125 a week and have to pay 175 in rent a week? Any suggestions? I would really like to go back to work even if I was only making 26.5 cpm with Milan Express. Help!!!:biggrin_2553:

So, you saying you need utility bills in your name to get a CDL in Tn.? That's strange. And YOU owe $9 grand for the cable T.V. bill? Can you say "Pay per view"? Yikes....I guess those "adult movies" get costly, right? Oh well, ask the boss for overtime next week and cut out the beer runs and taco bell grub and see what happens. Good luck, Pardner....

I'd get the hell out of Tennessee and find a state where they don't have stupid requirements to get my CDL back. I'd scrape together what money I had and hitchhike if I had to.

Oh hey, if the cable company says you owe them money they must have sent you a bill, right? Use that.

Im just wondering why you would have to pay for the cable bill if your family are the ones that ran it up. Even if your name was on it you could probably sue them for the money since they are the ones that ran it up so high.

Also how on earth is a 9k cable bill possible?

I'm pretty sure my cable company wouldn't let me run up a tab for $9,000!

A couple years ago I got a bill for a pager I never paid off when I was 17. The store went out of business before I paid it off and I never heard anything until I got the bill 15 years later. $3,000.

(Hell no I didn't pay it, lol)

They have compiled all the bills for the house for the last since they bought Viacom. My Uncle lived in the house till my dad kicked him out. then we moved up there. they had cable then turned on in their name... btw... uncle didn't pay the bill for his and he had a 40 (expensive back then) cable bill. then when my bro was born they couldn't pay the bill anymore, so after it was shut off on them... they turned it back on in moms name and after that my dad's middle name, then after that I turned it on, payed my bill till I transfered it to an apt after I got married.... Moved back home cause mom and dad's cable was off and my brother ran out of names... I had it back on in my name. some things happen and it got shut off again. when i went to pay it (1 mo later) they added every unpaid bill for the address, not eric jones... (my bill was 235.) they also kept the converters which added into the bill. Needless to say I tried to fight it but they started to file paperwork on my to process me to be sued.

I might have figured something out. to increase my money, and soon will be able get the lights and water switched in my name. then I will have to start my career all over again. Oh well, It was a hell of a ride... thats what made it fun and why I drove. I guess I will get my 200" sleeper with the shower and Kitchen and drive again when I am retired from my other boring 9-5. Have fun out there guys and ladies. Be safe and God Bless.
