I can believe that. I would think most pizza joints would be very suspicious of somebody calling for a delivery without an actual address.

Uber Eats, don't care about your address, just keep your GPS on , and it will automatically show you local places and ETA time when food will be delivered

First time I used I recently was I had some pizza delivered to the Georgia Dome marshaling yard... OMG the best pizza ive ever had!!!!!! It was a local place. I wouldn't use it to have any fast food Mcdonalds, Wendys, etc. I like Chinese food but ive found that its gonna be really good, or really bad so Ive stopped getting Chinese from local joints that I don't know. Pizza is usually a safe bet when ordering, Chinese, unless its Panda Express then I won't touch it anymore.

I will try to Walmart delivery if im ever in an area where its offered.

Sitting in SLC the other day at a M&S getting loaded, scrolled through Uber Eats, Doordash, Grubhub, honestly couldn't find anything that sounded good, ended up ordering Jimmy John's, 2 regular subs, a large lemonade and 3 bottles of water. Basically lunch and dinner for the 8 hr drive back to Denver, made it easier.

Also, if you sign up for the delivery services, every so often they will send out promo deals, recently Uber Eats had a $20 discount on a $40 minimum order. Wife and I ordered from a local Italian place, two full meals worth of food, $50 but I had the $20 off and a $15 credit, worked out well for the driver, they got a $15 tip.
