Has anybody used a letter of intent?

    Yes I have I sent a letter to a guy telling him I was going to beat him silly and then I did !!!
    Worked like a charm !!!

    Just make sure that you have the truck insured, without that if you get checked by LEO you will be put out of service.

    Hunters Permit:
    An owner operator who has broken lease, may purchase a Hunters Permit. The
    permit is for thirty (30) days at a cost of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). The permit
    qualifies the vehicle at unladen weight only and is valid in all jurisdiction.


    This can be found in most IRP manuals!!

    what you need is liability insurance, that's what the letter of intent and such is for. I know mercer does it all the time for guys coming in to orientation, that's how I got there after I left those bums I was leased to before
