There is one for sure in/behind the dash. Go back and look at your contract though. Tampering with it can be cause for cancellation of your contract. LM is so simple to work with, make your payments on time and 2 times a year get the ecm printout or certified shop verifying the mileage and you are good to go.

Mine was under the cab on my Pete I had from them back in 2013. Small black box zip tied and wired in to another line. I paid off that truck, though, so never gave it much thought.

I know somebody who has one of their Kenworth 680's and his was spliced into the outlet for the regrigerator in the sleeper. At least that one was.

Some of the newer trucks which have the factory nav systems actually can be tracked in a way by that system and stored in one of the computers which can be downloaded later.

BUT I agree with vovloterry that it can void your contract if it is tampered with.

I've heard that sometimes there are 2 trackers, I've also heard that some trackers have a tamper alarm, that sends an alert if tampered with. Read your contract carefully. It's not your truck until it's paid off. But then again, you're going to do exactly what you want to. As others have said, stay current on your payments, and don't sweat the small stuff.

I don't think it's worth losing your job in case they installed 2 devices man. But if it will help, one is usually almost always behind the dashboard but they can be modified to look like anything so you might not be able to notice it. For the second one, there are all kinds of trackers; magnetic, hardwired etc so it might be very hard to find it.

Should have billed them for storage fees.
