Don't do it. I was with them one month when I quit. This was in December. They ran me ok one month averaging $1.91 then I sat at home waiting on freight for two weeks while they offered $1.81 a mile to Phoenix from my house which is 300mi away. When I told them that wasn't enough for such little much they got mad. So I quit. I was workin with tim out of Prescott az. All their loads are from load boards. I asked them I they had so many offices why couldn't they keep me running and they had no answer. I got three checks with them and not one of them was on time. One which was thanksgiving weekend was never even cut so they gave me a comcheck which they charged me for. Good luck having them answer the phone at corporate much less returning calls.
Has anyone been an O/O for JRC Transportation

Good luck. I leased on agasint advice from all my friends. I regret it. They offered me 2.10/mi to pull hay from the Dakotas to tx. 12 wide 14+ high, 2 lane roads daytime only. No thanks

I noticed ad they had and called today, too much B.S. story and how rich you will get, hard selling and not a half truth anywhere.
SHC Thanks this. -
I pulled one crappy broker load of welfare wire out of conn. Steel for them...
aiwiron Thanks this. -
All the loads out of CT steel pay bad because all the big companys and brokers are in there and have lowered the rates to nothing. I used haul in and out of there alot in the 90's and the rates where good. JRC/CLT has lowered the rates also on alot of freight in my area. Dirt bags is the only word i can say about them.
Ruthless, The Challenger, Logan76 and 2 others Thank this. -
I know some old hands that ran into CT steel alot in the 90s.

I had 3 trucks w/step decks leased on to a woman named Karen who was a Agent for them in Florence SC, her husbands name was Tony and he was S. Africa, they double brokered freight just so she could make money and loaded her husband around my trucks. Was there 60 days and never saw a check...

The most sloppiest disfunctional company I ever worked for.
First of, if you're just an O/O and have no clue how to find a load on your own, o brother, you're in deep crap because the dispatchers here aren't really savvy, as far as finding a load or plan ahead, research hot states etc.Sometimes.... I wonder if they're looking for loads at all or just "spacing" into monitors?
Second,if you have a problem with payroll (missing pay check) then God bless you, reaching someone in that dept or getting your calls returned. They already two weeks behind on pay to me and still no answer from corporate office.
Third,if you ask for a cash advance here's how much is this gonna cost you.Yes Sir,you will pay handsome fee for getting cash advances.Regardless of the amount you will get charged 12.5$ per occurrence plus 5$ a comcheck fee.
So there you be I hope it helps.
