well - since I'm not in a truck yet - no. Not in a truck.
However! (there's always a 'however' with me, ain't there?) we have a CO detector in the hallway outside the bedrooms upstairs. A year or so ago the boys and I were.. I don't recall just what we were doing, actually. We were all sitting in the hall, though. Godzilla was next to the CO detector when he let loose a blast from the pits of hell. I don't know WHAT that boy had been eating, but - it took months for my nostril hairs to grow back.
But that's beside the point, really. The point is, about the time my nose was assaulted, the CO sensor went off with a vengeance. That was funny. -
Yes. I didn't even know we HAD the #### thing.
My hubby was on the road and I was at home waiting on testing out and watching TV and what I THOUGHT was the fire alarm going off sounded. Then it said 'Carbon Monoxide Detected' which scared me cause I didn't know it talked or that it detected co2. The fire department never did find out where it was coming from but they did register an elevated level of co2 when they came to check. -
Only when I tested it to see if it would actually work. Far as going off sitting in a parking lot sleeping ext.. No I have not. One thing is for sure, I feel much more insured by having it.
