Has anyone ever seen evidence of the driver shortage?

I started using the google map street view just because it is nice to actually visually drive the local street and find the landmarks if the receiver or shipper gives shaky directions.

I still call all customers. I think it shows a level of professionalism to give them a heads up you are either on the way or close. I don't do grocery house or drive for a mega tho.

 

I have never seen the Petro in Lebec (Wheeler Ridge in the truck stop guide) full. It also has a Chipolte across the street. Very nice, quiet truckstop with a huge parking lot.

 

They closed the frozen yogurt place though.

 

Where is the in and out Burger in Barstow. I can't remember. I always eat at the Panera or the Chipolte.

 

Driver those are the ones scared of the dark, the boogy man might come out and get them

 

In any rural area in the south, that will be the best money they will see in their life time.
