MY 2001Freightliner Century S/T class is in get shape , I want to install air-ride to the front end. Is there someone who makes a package , or do I have to build my own. Any suggestions?

The air rides I have seen for the front use what appears to be a light main leaf spring to locate the axle with an air bag assist.

^^^^^^^ hey there it is! ^^^^^^^^^

more complex system, less reliability, when one air bag blows at high speed it is dangerouse and leafspring may crack. You will get additional pain related with front leveling valve (ore additional solenoid and sensor if you have ECS).

That's why full air suspention is rarelly used on trucktors. It is usually installed on EU BDF (20' container haulers) ore on buses.

But with full air suspention truck runs smoother, especially with light load and not so shaking bobtailing.

Call 4 state trucks. They have a kit from a company called loadshare.its got snag for each side along with the valves and etc. It uses your existing springs but it works quite we'll from what I hear.

I had load share systems on all of my twin steer bedtrucks. It worked great really smoothed out the ride and saved on the cabs. These trucks were rigid cab t800's they weighed 56000 lbs just the truck had a wheelbase of 350 inches and had chalmers suspension of the 56000 lbs they carried 33000 on the steer that's the need for the twin steer they were also run primarily down rough azzed dirt oilfield roads and rode as well as my smaller lighter air ride cab and suspension trucks.

Looking at this kit, seems they are not using a load leveling valve? There also using double doughnut bags? Did I miss something? $995 seems to be on the high side for what is in this kit? But I'm just a old fart with a tender ###.
