I start classes soon and may end up moving to AZ before the year is over. How difficult is it to transfer, do I need to retake any tests?

Not any different than changing a regular drivers license. No retesting.

It varies from state to state, but when I transferred my Wis. license to Co. the guy said, if I want to keep my CDL, like $8 bucks extra. I said , no thanks, just give me the regular.

Arizona will take Pennsylvania, Indiana, California, and Utah without retesting. Hazmat test will be required for the endorsement.

Great move if you do. Wish it was me. All my family & wife's family on the east coast except my brother in law in California. I love Arizona
