I just finished doing my 2017 Q3 IFTA report, and the tax rate for Indiana fuel surtax on diesel, is 0.000
So does this mean the Indiana diesel fuel surtax is over or maybe suspended for Q3..?
Has the Indiana diesel fuel surtax ended..?

Kinda looks that way.
Wow, indiana went from .16 + .11 (surcharge) in Q2 to 0.47 but scrapped the surcharge it looks like. .20 jump.
Ca went down from .40 to .37
NJ up to .44 from .34
California would be the last state I would ever of guessed would ever lower a tax. I am sure they are collecting it in another way. It wouldn't surprise me if there was a carbon tax paid based on fuel bought in the state that does not count towards ifta. -
I guess I should have looked at Q4 before I posted.
It appears CA is going to raise the diesel tax to 0.57 effective .... Nov 1. Wonder how that will work out, for ifta reporting purposes.... ??
Looks like it will hold #2 place only to PA.
NJ, IN are catching up to CT and WA. -
What the heck could cause a state to NOT want to collect a tax?? I wonder....

Didn't IN just roll the surcharge into the pump price?
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
