Trucking companies are not known to accept "He did it. I did nothing" at face value.
I remember one situation I pulled out of a Bus station after getting trapped in the area which I really should have known better. One idiot managed to make it about 1/3 of a mile all the way up to me before ramming the curb off a light.
He claimed I cut him off. Pay him 500 for a new wheel etc.
HAHAHAHA.
My Boss questioned me carefully for weeks I laughed and explained carefully what happened. He did it to himself I cut no one off with that little hot car he had.
From what I understand, in the end the guy had to buy hisself a entirely new wheel, tire, fender, front end etc etc etc after seeing visions of a big golden payout from our tractor trailer way up there on scam hill.
Has this happened to you?

Those hinges are made to break away. They're relatively cheap. If you pull that trailer type often, keep 2 spares.
Hanging a door is simple. Check for a local trailer shop. If close enough, throw the door in trailer and go get in hung. -
Break the seal only!

Yep, done that. 16 or 17 years ago. I was backing in one of those places where the ramp is angled down and kinda steep. After getting half way in it's just a black hole can't see anything . Naturally no overhead lights. The door came unhooked and swung around , I couldn't see it and popped it right off the hinges.

Beg the safety director for forgiveness ,since it was such a life altering event... at least he acted like it was.
