I've got a 36" Peterbilt 359 sleeper in Cokato, MN that I need picked up there and delivered to Los Angeles, CA. We have forklifts for loading and unloading. I'm having a heck of a time finding someone to haul it. Any suggestions or anybody got any extra space on or in a trailer?

How much are you offering on the load?
-
maybe you'd have better luck getting somebody to take it to Denver or Salt Lake or something and then having someone else bring it from there ? If you could arrange the warehousing and such.

$7500 to make a round out of it. Sorry but the California really hurts a lot of us aren't complaint for California. Call online freight services. They're a cut rate broker and I believe they're out of MN. I have called on numerous cheap loads they have. They can probably get it set up as an LTL out there. I can move it from MN to CA for you but my price is going to be out of this world when you hear it.
I would say you're best bet is to start calling brokers though. I'd imagine SAIA, UPS, FEDEX, etc. All wanted way to much to ship it for you if they could even handle the job. Shoot might have somebody who can help you out. Sudbury transportation out of KS. Google them. I KNOW he runs 48 states he's a carrier and a broker he can work something out for you more than likely. Good luck. -
sent you a PM.

freightquote.com will get you a nice low ltl carrier rate. I use them all the time to ship racing karts
