Hauling Access Mats

Discussion in 'Canadian Truckers Forum' started by walterk, Dec 2, 2023.

  1. Anybody hauled access mats on flatbeds? - summer, winter? What was your experience? I got a job opportunity, but I am worrying about soil residue (stones, etc) left on them becoming a safety hazard that MTO in Ontario might not appreciate. Thanks.

I've hauled them lots, I usually just ran with them on the bush roads until I reached pavement. Then I'd pull off and take a broom to clean up what I could. Never hauled them in Ontario but out here in alberta you see them all the time.

I never had a problem with going across scales with them.
