I am very curious about these permits. I have talked to ABC in California twice and they keep assuring me that I am not required to have ANY permits to transport alcohol. The last ABC representative i spoke to said it is the requirement of the shipper and the receiver to have the necessary permits. If this is bad info... lol.. which i guess i would not be surprised... I'd like to know.

I was just curious. How much is the fine to the driver if you decided to run that 20 miles across West Virginia from Virginia to Pennsylvania without a permit and you just happened to get caught? Picked up at that Miller brewery in Elkton, VA going to Pittsburgh but didn't have the ORIGINAL permit(photocopies sent by FAX not allowed).
