My first year in business i have only been turned down once freight quote. I wouldn't be worried about that. Not sure about landstar's requirements but trust me when I say this there is no loss there most of there loads are double brokered and pay is very low. You don't need to be hauling there freight anyway also stay far away from TQL

Firstly thank you for your response.
I will have had my MC reinstated 3 months come the 13th of December. So I am close to passing the second milepost re longevity.
However so far I have had the same experience as you. Only one turned their nose up.
Meanwhie back at the ranch I made a solid contact at CH Robinson and he has been fantastic. It has got to the point he almost exclusively runs me.
I know, I know CHR are low payers etc. The thing is they haven't been. I am getting a solid $2 a mile and this is all I ask. He manages to work my parameters easily and once I recovered my signal on Tuesday night I found that he had organized 3 new runs dovetailing into each other taking me through until Monday. That was because another load had fallen through and he was trying to rescue me from the wilds of Nebraska whilst still making money.
    He managed it !
Unfortunately yesterday morning on run #1 the stupid kid loading my trailer ripped the roof out. Now I gotta get a new roof. This is going to be fun.
Had to immediately while sitting in the dock cancel $2900 of runs. My attorney already knows what is going on (I have a specialist trucking attorney on retainer) and my trailer guy is waiting for me. So it is a deadhead down to MS from IA then the games being.
Not as worried as I could be though because the CH guy has kept me so productive that I have built up a bankroll.
Maybe it is just this CHR fellah, I don't know. The Coyote guy has kinda sucked and I hate screwing around with most of the clowns out there. I believe that if it ain't broke don't fis it so I guess I am just living in a CHR world now.
As for Landstar thanks for the heads up. They were useless when I leased to them and I guess they haven't improved.
TQL??? I hate them like poison.

Got to agree with you. No trouble at all really. I was just trying to see if I was overlooking something. Doesn't seem I was.

Some companies will black list you for a short time..but the extra 20% profit is substantial...with your own authority.

Anyone with "half a brain" can make money in the current market as it has been for the last few months.

YouTube coaches who get on the internet and act like the Almighty trucking Professor crack me up. If you are running for 2.00 a mile in this market you are leaving a Lot of money on the table.
