If it is only curbside delivery it's pretty good. Hauling shingles is easy, just make sure you get some boards under the straps so you don't tear up the shingles.
If they want you loading roofs it becomes a lot more work.

I delivered sod years ago, using a "spyder" that rode attached to the back of the trailer. We had a Princeton. a JLG, and a Brouer forklift, there are lots of others.
There used to be a "Parade of Homes" the local homebuilders used to do.12 new houses, all going up at once, usually on the same cul de sac. PITA with coordinating with all the other trades working the same area.
Curbside delivery would be OK, if you're shuffling shingles to the roof, I would pass. Also Joe Averagehomeowner can be the worst customer. "Don't drive on the driveway"" I need them in the back, but don't drive on the grass" "can you carry the bundles by hand?" kinda thing.canviskiller Thanks this. -
