Location and timing that's the key plus if you can interview well, show you have some common sense and draw from past experience even if it was at other places you work at it all helps.
When I interviewed at Gordon Food Service I had experience as a beer truck driver and at the same time though I worked in restaurants and knew a little bit about there business and even from just being around knew who some of there customers were and that gave the boss enough confidence.
Plus I'm always thinking and looking down the line too for other opportunities and hopefully maybe one will come up for me that doesn't involve being in the truck the boss at GFS hinted and said the company is growing and likes to promote from within there's different departments and other options at the company, which is good, I think eventually I would like to get out of the truck and do other things within the business.
Have the experience, now what?

With two years under your belt take your time and just throw out some applications at all the top carriers and private fleets. You came into your second year at the beginning of the hiring season so finding the type of work you want should be very easy. Check out Carhaul, Tanker, and LTL at this point the world is your oyster. Good luck and congratulations.
