If you remember correctly I was upfront with you on the pro/anti Union thing. That was my opinion. And now you have decided to post the above two posts and think I disrespest YOU?

    Civil discourse then.

You infer that my service was other than purported or honorable? Buddy, I will tell you, don't.

As for our 26 year old (I guess that rules out any military service) friend. He is close enough to make his way down here.

Ok, lets keep it civil in here or this thread will be closed. There's already one warning in here from staff.

Man, I hope that doesn't happen up around here. The local Stepan plant at any time could have 13 rail cars and two 100,000 gallon storage units full of Ethylene Oxide. Basically more powerful than TNT, exothermic, and creates its own oxygen once the reaction is started. How do you start the reaction you say? Let oxygen get at the stuff. LOL It is pressurized with Nitrogen in order to keep the chemical stable.

I did security at that plant for a while. Basic tour was, "here is this and that, this alarm means this and that alarm means that. Oh, and by the way, if you hear a God awful loud alarm, you have time to put your head between your legs and kiss your ##### goodbye!". That was the EO tank alarm, if it ever blew about a 5 mile radius of land around the plant would be vaporized.

Now that was fun to work at during a huge storm and power outage, alarms going off all over the place. LOL

Yes, I tend to lapse into Marine speak and it does get me in trouble.LOL.

Having been spanked by the lady this AM I am going to leave this thread and use the site for my original purpose. To learn as much as I possibly can about my new chosen profession.

    Study, preparation and practice.
    Regards, Max

The teamster want you to respect their cause and not cross the picket line?

What have they ever done for the non-union truckers. Stand up and start representing the rest of us. Then I will respect your strikes. Until then we have to make a paycheck.

    Rick Brown Thanks this.
