I know that bridge, and have always gotten under it easily...Of course I'm only 5' 11"!

Yes. My friend mentioned that one. One side is higher than the other. I don't see that one labeled in the motor carrier atlas.

I don't see those bridges marked in the atlas either. I guess not all low bridges are listed in the motor carrier atlas? That's not good. LOL. Also, the bridge on Route 1 in Norwood is 13'6', but in the atlas they list it as 13'5". Strange.

Ya, me too. In Brooklyn. I got half way through and then stuck. My boss came and let air out of the tires.

If it's not marked, it's 15 feet or higher.

The best thing about bridges. They generally dont move.

This genius thought he could fit under a 13' 3" COVERED BRIDGE with a 3 ton weight limit. He GPS told him he could

Chicago is notorious for paving the roads, adding 2 or 3 inches of asphalt, then not changing the bridge clearance sign.

North avenue bridges are featured prominently on the show Wrecked. About O'Hare towing and the semi's they have to recover...

Made me laugh. Back when I was a trainer, had a student who ducked for his first two days on the truck!
