I was wondering if most truckers aspire to be RR conductors because of the pay; if not, why not?

but i am sure it would get monotanous as well
i did work for cp rail when i was young--was a great job--great pay---like a donkey i quit when my old job came back -
i would like to try it for a week and no longer, just to see what it is like.
