You really should have that ironed out before you buy a truck.

Haha any time you want to step up and call me a f'n twinkie to my f'n face I bet its the last thing you say, I have been doing this for 25 years, and have always been versatile, right now one day I might be hooked to three different kinds of trailers hauling god knows what, I have a sorta dedicated customer with my current gig but have the ability and the experience to change at anytime I want to, Its twinkies like you that stick with the same old same old and then whine and cry when things ain't going your way. I don't jump around on boards or chase down loads, actually hardly ever even look at any load boards. It is my versatility that keeps my truck moving when guys just like you are on here whining and crying about rates being down and fuel to the moon. It is also me being willing to try new things and being versatile that keep me busy and my phone constantly ringing. In 25 years of having a cdl I have flatbedded (actually what I enjoy the most) hauled equipment, step deck, pulled dry van, pulled reefer, spent 8 years doing food service work, drove every #### dump truck that exists from single axle to 7 axle and end dump and belly dump, pulled watertanker, milk truck, and hazmat. You are lucky I haven't stepped into whatever your field is, because you would be out of work. Next time you want to call someone a twinkie without knowing jack you better take a deep breath before you realize you might just bite off alot more than you can chew

You should probably do your research before you make the accusations you did about me .. I've never loaded off a load board once in the 35 years I've been in the industry I'am in .. nor will you ever see me complain about the rates on what I haul .. I have no need to switch trailers very often if I do its only at request of a long time customer..
So you you should really do your homework & research before you start pointing fingers at someone ..and making threatening remarks.. You really should of taken time to read all my posts in this thread tough guy..I highly doubt I nor the 5 or 6 members on here would feel threatened if you tried your expertise hand in.our sector ..Speaking for myself and knowing them like I do.. we would just pop big bag of popcorn and get a big laugh out of watching you struggle with it
BTW.. since you seem.to think I whine & cry about rates and fuel being to the moon .. I challenge you to produce 1 single post I've ever made on this forum about the rates of what I haul since you have accused me of doing that .. I'll wait patiently ..
I'am also not gonna go all Rambo like you choose ..

Isn’t diversifying within the same industry not diversifying at all?

In blue collar work I’d rather be good at a lot of things than great at one and not know much about anything else.
