The people who need to read road signs cannot read road signs and drive at the same time. Signs are a distraction.
Haven’t ever seen this road sign before.

TN and NC have a huge problem with trucks on the “tail of the dragon “ a very narrow twisty section of US 129
doesn’t matter how many signs they install , some 18 thinks they can fit.
I get it .
I once drove US 74 from Cleveland TN to Murphy NC
It’s the ONLY road .
that was a big mistake.
I was able to creep thru because I had a cabover and a 48
if I had a big hood and 70” sleeper and a 53 it would have been impossible I thinkLast edited: Jun 24, 2021

Why'd they make the signs in English?

Driving I-5 north just across the Oregon state line from California there is a new rest stop at the bottom of Siskiyou summit as you approach the POE. There are no less than 3 large signs before the new rest stop that clearly state "NO COMMERCIAL TRUCKS IN REST AREA" and yet almost every time I pass it, there is a SWIFT or CR England truck parked in there taking their 10. I imagine that it's a pretty hefty ticket too. Signs don't mean squat.
