Having a hard time deciding on my next seat, need recommendations

I've been in the market for a seat since the day I bought my truck. My shopping experience taught me that it is seldom the person you speak with knows more than you about the seat. All they know is what options the computer will allow or what they might have in stock. I firmly believe there is a push to move current stock which is basic.
Your basic hob involves a seat you sit in for a lot of hours each day. Why save 250 bucks and skimp? If there are any features you will use, GET THEM! if you can spend thousands on an entertainment center for the house, why not spend a few hundred more on your health & make driving better each 11 hr day?
I went and ordered a Bostrom last winter. I did not want to give up anything my old seat had such as heat, swivel, etc. But since I'm right between 6 and 7 feet tall, most head rest hit me in the shoulder blades.
The wide ride was only option for the cooling gel, so that sounded good.

My upper back problem is gone. That was #1 problem solved. My butt doesn't get as sore as the national seat offered (yes, I found out bostrom is owned by National -i saw the sticker during install)
For $1300+ I got the adapter, the seat with swivel, gel, heat, back cycler and all EXCEPT
*Not a good choice if you have auto shift to mount to bostrom
*My unmentionables are not any cooler with the serta gel (I'M sweating more)
*they didn't include the shock adjust and I find this seat TOO bouncy if not filled to the top
*Armrest are shorter than National; its an elbow rest
*This seat feels like the frame is flimsy once installed and riding down the road. It is already creaky, squeaky, and the fore/ aft slider started sticking after 1 week of use.
*after just 2 months, I've noticed the seat cushion caving in by the door from me getting in & out of the truck
Lesson: don't get wide ride if you are not wide. It seems to be the same frame as there other models with my padding slathered on so it just hangs there and the cool gel is a gimmick. Even a mattress store told me so.
Next seat will be the ISRI. It has all the adjustments I want and is built to better standards for safety and longevity. Unfortunately, finding a good retailer is difficult.

I bought my ISRI from Suburban seats. They had it in stock and shipped right to my door. Be aware, that seat is heavy!

Since this thread was bumped, it is 4+ years later and I'm still riding around on that same mid-back fixed-back non-air-ride jump seat I welded up an adapter bracket to bolt onto the air-ride base. Still holds my butt just fine and didn't cost me a dime. Then again, it's been 9+ years that I've owned the truck and it still doesn't have A/C. It is a work truck...doesn't need to be comfortable, just needs to get the job done. I'll worry about being comfortable at quitting time...which is when I park the truck and either go inside the house or check into a Holiday Inn Express.

We get the point. You could sit on a rock for 14 yrs a day. Others aren't as tuff/cheap as you and would like a comfortable seat.
