I am constantly amazed by these WE stories. There motto should be: "We have a bad reputation and intend to keep it that way" Lol. Try to tough it out, get some experience and move on. Good luck

So ask for another truck, it isn’t like they created a truck like this to crap out on you. They are also not void of trucks in their fleet, so start asking, remind them you want to make money for them and you.

Go up the ladder see if you can get someone higher up to do some convincing. A driver waiting on the shop is money the company ain’t making. If it’s constantly going to the shop the truck ain’t good anymore time to trade it in.

That Tractor should be at the Dealership for warranty work. The run of the mill "technicians" at the company shop don't have the "expertise" for those types of problems/repairs. It should be evident by the fact that these seem to be problems that existed proud to the OP being seated in that Tractor. Many of these "technicians" that are employed by these company shops can screw up a simple oil change or tire repair. I agree, climb up the food chain to get a different tractor assignment. I'm sure his dispatcher is making the call right now. Probably doesn't know a transmission from a turbo!

You won’t get a better truck if you don’t ask for a better truck.
rachi, Lumper Humper and Dockbumper Thank this. -
*PRIOR not proud. Oops!

2019 with those issues? somebody trashed it imo and the company wants to see if anyone will drive it. dont drive it.
Lumper Humper and Dockbumper Thank this. -
I guess to me it is the principle of the matter. If your dispatcher was worth a darn, you would have already been in another truck. That is the person who is supposed to be looking out for you in the company. He knows how much you sit and how often your in the shop. Get a new dispatch aswell while your at it. This is why independent is the way to go, I've got nobody to blame but myself if things go to pot.

I don't think "Independent" is in the cards for the OP quite yet. He just got off of his TRAINERS TRUCK! LOL
