Apparently quite a few people qualify that don't think they would. It depends on the state, but a lot of states have made new laws lately. I did my homework. This firm in particular has a money back guarantee, so that makes me feel better about it. There are definitely a few other firms who seem to specialize in this though, so I'd look around like I did.

Nope. Just this first time I've really been posting here. I've been on here since July, just don't post - mostly just read what other have to say. This is the first time I felt I had much to add. Very interested to hear about the waiver Snowman mentioned - didn't see that in my looking around.Snowman73 Thanks this.

10-4, I just checked that website and they cant help me. Oh well, it a cross I have to bear lol
At any rate, my junk wasnt bad enough to keep me from a hazmat endorsement. -
Well first you'll need to do the fingerprint scan which is around 85.00 then you'll get a response back from them either granting you a hazmat clearance or you'll get a preliminary disqualification or straight out disqualified. They'll send you the info to apply for a appeal or a waiver. I applied for waiver. Because I was guilty but rehabilitated myslelf all I had to do was document it with letters of support and from my probation/parole officer certificates from counseling or treatment copies of any restitution. There is a list of things you can get but I have you examples of what I submitted plus a letter from my employer and family members. The number to get it all started is 855-347-8371 and that's for hazmat or twic card.

If I could take a pic of these papers I'd show you but I don't even know how to tag someone on this thing. Trust me I had drug possession with delivery, organized crime and robbery on my record convicted in 2005 served my time got out got my CDL back in 2012 and was given waiver finally in 2015. It's possible so take it from me. But I had documentation to show I jumped through hoops. But a word to the wise there is no such true thing as expunged when we're talking about the Feds and homeland security/ TSA they know everything. Just keep your head on straight and don't get discouraged I have a good wife who believed in me every step of the way and didn't let me get discouraged which they try to do.White_Knuckle_Newbie Thanks this.
