Hazmat\Restriction\Endorsements???

Trying to understand this, and I thought I would ask here first.

I had my Hazmat and Tankers added to my CDL yesterday. I had been waiting for the finger printing thing and TSA to finish things up.

Here is my Question:
Endorsements - M-T-X, I understand all of this
Restrictions - Just how it is on my License "1-*9" What the heck is the "*9" the "1" is my corrective lenses but I just don't understand the *9 ???

Yes I am going to call DMV this morning after they open.

 

I searched the NC DMV web site for it last night too, and I did not see anything, and I also searched the manual too.

 

Ok, the mystery is solved, the Restriction *9 is followed by a date of when the 5 years is up on the Hazmat Endorsement and then you have to go retake the test for it!!!!

I knew that it would expire after 5 years, but I was just concerned that there was some other restriction imposed on my Hazmat Endorsement, and I wanted to make sure everything was set on my CDL.
