    Ya they filmed a movie in my hometown years ago. It was a very busy four lane highway and they would stop traffic for 15 minutes at a time to shoot scenes for it. I couldn’t believe they’d let them do that, but I guess money talks. They had traffic backed up way down the highway. Totally repainted a guys motel for him because they wanted it a different color.

    I won't go into details, for my daughters sake, it is usually pretty hush-hush, but like I say, I got a stark lesson in how Hollywood operates. She said, they might spend weeks creating a scene, at a cost that would save most trucking companies, only to throw the whole thing out because the producer didn't like it. I'm sure the cops get free donuts for a year. Obviously, some of the scenes can't be faked, I certainly hope our Canadian neighbors aren't that poor of drivers and no, I've never been Nort' of the border, and have no intention of doing so, unless of course, they start rolling tanks down Hy.50,,:eek:

    Those reality tv shows pay some big money..I remember reading that Tony Beets of Gold Rush got paid $300k per episode..
