I have a 02 pete, the problem is my headlights work fine until i put my highbeams on. The drivers side works as it should, but there is no power at all to the passenger side on highbeam. I've checked the ground is good it seems there is no power to the fuse box from the steering colum i just thought someone else maybe has had the same problem and could give me a shortcut to save me some grief! Thanks. Joe jr.

There should be a jumper wire from one highbeam to the next. I would suspect a poor connector or a broke wire where it enters the connector. Back up a couple inches and back probe the wire and see if there isn't power. Double check the ground connection for corrosion. That's the only thing it can be if one side works. I have run a new chassis ground before.
Here's a schematic that might help, page 17. You have to zoom in to read them. Use your toolbar.

That particular model runs through a MFTS module but your problem has to be between both lights. -
Condocruiser, thank you very much, iwill check it out and let you know what i come up with. I am pretty lucky cause,i know most of the dot in mass and nh ,i just want to fix the problem in case i do get pulled over. Anyway thanks again for your help. Joe jr.

I had the same issue on my 99 pete but turned out to be the relay in the door down by left foot. Mine apprantly has separate relays for left and right high beam headlight. I switched the relay out and haven't had the problem since.
