Have a orientation date September 24th in millington,tn and I was looking for some info on what to expect and how things are done the time during training at millington and while on the truck with a trainer, and do they have u shift a cretin way or what happens. Info will be greatful.

And I went threw 20ur weeks of academy training to get my cdl. Hit then in July of this year. Was taught there everything from straight line backing, ally docking, and shifting also highway and interstate driving and right and left hand turns.
Headed to swift on 24th, already have my class A.any info plz..?

I think you will find many things different once you hit the road.
Things like, you didn't pull a real load while training. And that affects your shifting, braking, turning...
You trained to back in a specified area, but no two docks are the same. No two truck stops are the same. -
That is very true moose. The only weight I pulled I I school was 45,000 pounds that we pulled 2 hours to a food bank

I only had mt's in school. -
Well looks like I won't be going with swift now. I been waiting on word from the one company I wanted to go with, so looks like I'll be going flatbed.
