I see your in az so your going to tulsa for orientation. well i dont know how it is in tulsa but in youngstown it was 3 days 1 day your in class all day 2 day your learning how to chain loads down and 3 day its tarp,strap and chain load down. 3 day you take a test on everything you learn doesnt matter if you past or not. I asked for a extra day for tarping,chaining,strapping i think training should be longer especially if your new to flatbed like i was. Melton pretty good place i know they dropped pay and tarp is now 10 instead of 20. If your on fleet 6 which is josh he cool i use to call him i hated the qualcomm. most dispatcher dont answer the phone but he does. Your going to be hauling coils,roofing material,Pipes,slinkys,ect. you tarp 80% so be prepared tarps weight 90 lbs. i suggest to get plastic protector veeboards for roofing material. they help, there better then a piece of wood with part of a strap nail to it. go here for veeboards http://www.truckntow.com/pc-9946-146921-veeboard-ultra-heavy-duty-corner-protectors.aspx ............. any more infor let me know
