as well. you'll have plenty of time in the truck all week to do whatever you want to and hey, 10 hours and one minute of down time if you want to handwash your truck in the truckstop parking lot. lol

When a student goes out with his trainer, how do they determine who to pair you up with? For example, if you're a non smoker, do they pair you with the same type trainer? Also, do they try to place you with a trainer that lives as close to your home as possible? I don't expect to get home for 6-7 weeks after I leave to go to NLR for training but just trying to get some answers so everything isn't a total surprise. Thanks in advance for yours as well as everyone elses valuable info. It has really helped.

Yes if you're a non-smoker you can request a non-smoker trainer. If you're a smoker you can request a trainer that smokers or one that allows it. And yes again they do try to get to with a trainer that lives in the same area that you do. The key word there is try there are times there's no trainer that lives in the area that you do.

I was on paper logs until the last week of August, got a 2012 with EOBR.

I wash my truck at home if the weather is going to be good, it's my home through the week, and I treat it as such. The guys at Laurenburg couldn't believe how clean my 566,000 Columbia was

there are a handful of 2010's that will run 70 due to a quirk in the ECM programming, so I'm told. I know of two that will do it, because they could absolutely walk my 68 mph 2007.

I'll be the same way with my truck. My vehicles at home look like they just come off the showroom floor and I sure as heck want my truck to look the same way. My home on wheels will be just as pristine as my permanent home. I want to be proud of my ride and treat it as such. If they trust me with a piece of equipment that costs as much as they do, the least I can do is take care of it.

As for how long you have your truck I didnt dispute when you would get anything. I just corrected your incorrect assumption that trades were done specifically in order of number. They are not. try to match you up with a trainer that lives near you so when he/she gets home, you do to. smokers/ non smokers makes no difference unless it's a smoking student in a non smoking trainers truck. trainer sets the rules. My rule, you smoke?. . .crack the window. truck's stopped?. . .you smoke outside.
