I have probably been averaging over 2500. I had 3200 a couple of weeks ago. The week prior to that was just over 2000 which set me up for the big week. But I have been running pretty good. In fact when I got home tonight there was a certificate from Maverick for being one of the top drivers on my board for Miles.

    What are your guys seeing?

Well everyone, I turned in my truck on Wednesday and made it home safe and sound.
I just could not go any further! I wish everyone the best!

Maverick did as promised and provided me with a way home free of charge! They are true to their word!!

Well Jim, just when I thought you were becoming a truck driver. What happened did you find that good local job that pays 1250 an hour. Did you find a job driving a garbage truck so you can sleep in her own bed every night. Or did you finally get the good job that MacDonalds or was that Burger King.

Im curious as well. For someone supposedly on top of the world here at Maverick why they would just up and leave.

Kinda correct depends on the instructor and of course. . .you trip planning--should you have an instructor that doesn't even look at a map, make sure you do.

maneuverablility training?--(K.I.S.S.) driving and backing, yep you'll do that too:biggrin_25525:

simulator training?-- that's after you get back to the terminal to evaluate out and get your own truck.

The product, the cranes, the forklifts, etc are not simulated nor are the injuries/ deaths of which they are capable. Dont get tunnel vision looking for the shipping and receiving office and walk thru the overhead door when there is a pedestrian door right next to it. Practice this phrase for when your instructor, (if he does such a thing) is in shadow phase keeping K.I.S.S. in mind when you check in "I'm new".

Be open to constructive criticism. When your instructor tells you put your stuff here, here, here, and here. dont put it there, there, there, and there. If you loosen something, tighten it, if you open something, close it, if you snore, set up your bed to sleep with your head opposite his or hers. if you eat something that comes in a wrapper, throw the wrapper away when you're done eating it. If you buy something and get a receipt for it that you want to keep, file it neatly in your paperwork not in the door pockets, tv shelf under the mattress, etc. if you have a relevant question, ask it

And before you put anything in your trainer's truck: Ask yourself, the following questions, "Do i really want to be here?" " Do i really want to do this?" BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF then answer yes or no.

If either is no. Go home and stop wasting your time and effort, Maverick's time and effort, and your trainers time and effort.

    ravister Thanks this.
