Ignore that first post, I hit the send button somehow:biggrin_25513:

Maverick Recuiter just called to say my orientation would probably be the second week in January as the 1st is full.

I have really enjoyed this huge thread will waiting to be approved. My question is have any of you been in the reefer division and if so what are your thoughts?

I just completed CDL training here in central Illinois and researched at least a hundred companies. Decided on this one. :biggrin_25514:

    Regards

    Steve

Usually the old flatbedders go in the refer division or those who can not handle flatbedding....no on on this thread meets that description(tongue in cheek).

Yes...lol. no disrespect intended but I do feel differently when I see a maverick reefer truck because I know if I need help with a securement issue they will not be able to help me unless they came from the flatbed division.
    Flatbedders have a special bond.

Understood. You did such a nice job of what to do and not do for the FB division I was hoping someone might had did the same for reefers. Don't want to mess up. I'm guess most of it be the same other than securement.

In the reeferr division the heaviest thing you will pick up is your door lock. Then you will just drive, wait long amounts of time at shippers and then drive some more.
