Cool...hope everything works out for him. Looking forward to meeting him someday.

On a side note: Jim, I needed you to run this week so I didn't have to go back to N. Carolina. I think I might start getting mail at the flying J in Fort Chiswell, VA.

Just got a call from Maverick recruiter. The position they are hiring for in my area is the specialized glass running all 48 and Canada. Maverick has been one at the top of my list but the thought of hauling glass is a little unsettling. The training pay and mileage seem great though. Time to start looking for threads on glass division!

Some of the guys that just came out of orientation can add to this, but as I remember it, you have to be able to climb up on a lumber load. You can set the two steel tarps on top of each other as a step.
You have to be able to climb up on the trailer. You have to walk across a beam.
You have to be able to throw the tarps up on the trailer a couple of times. You have to climb in and out of the cab using three points of contact.
You have to curl the box with weights in it...do not remember how much is in it.
That is all that I can remember....it is a very good representation of what you do every day so it is a very fair test. If you can not pass it, you would not be able to do the job in my humble opinion.

Well I had a nice vacation. Got some nice miles on my bike but #### it was a little too hot. Got caught in a couple thunderstorms the last one wiped out my phone. Now I have me a new smart phone. I like it but boy do I have a big learning curve on how to use. Like I told my son if it is so #### smart it should know what I wanted to.

Well am filling in on the central states dedicated account this week. Right now I'm heading to Iowa Minnesota and Wisconsin with a 12 stop run. All I can say is this heat is really wearing hard on this old man.

Hope everybody has a great Fourth of July.

Drive safe and enjoy the ride.

    jxu417 and Evil_E Thank this.
